The adjustable height of the MojoDesk standing desk spans from 24” to 51” to deliver comfort for users ranging in height from 4’11” and 6’6”. Also provided: four (4) presets to accommodate both sitting and standing positions for two separate people.
Varidesk, on the other hand, has a smaller range of adjustability—25.5” to 50.5—to accommodate users between 5’2” and 6’4.” Varidesk has just three (3) programmable presets.
Another key to your working comfort? MojoDesk features beveled front edges on all desk models so forearms and wrists rest at the correct ergonomic position while typing.
While the Varidesk ProDesk is available in just two (2) rectangular options, the 48-inch and the 60-inch, MojoDesk comes in 48, 60, and 72-inch rectangular cubicle and rectangular Organic Curve, which is our rectangular adjustable height desk with a natural, curved shape on the sides and back. In addition, our 72-inch desk is available in an L-shaped corner desk model.

All MojoDesk designs meet BIFMA standards and are independently tested and verified for stability and safety up to 300 pounds of pressure. By comparison, Varidesk is rated for 200 pounds for its 48-inch version and 250 pounds for the 60-inch version. (Note: Varidesk offers just two desk sizes.)
With MojoDesk you can choose between a black or gray adjustable frame, while Varidesk offers just one option, gray.
While MojoDesk requires no crossbar on any of our models, many of MojoDesk’s competitors require crossbars to meet BIFMA standards and limit bounce and shake. This is less than optimum as the presence of a crossbar also limits leg space, movement and space for under-desk storage.
Varidesk, in particular, comes with a crossbar that can only be installed by hammering the crossbar into the leg brackets using a provided rubber mallet. While the rubber mallet is intended to provide low-maintenance assembly, the daily height adjustments you make to the desk will continually move past the red marker noted in the instructions. When this happens, the desk is not stable, and the crossbar needs to be hammered down again. Note: bolts would provide more stability.

Although both the MojoDesk and Varidesk models meet BIFMA standards and are Greenguard certified, Varidesk is only Greenguard Certified for the work surface, while MojoDesk is Greenguard certified from top to bottom.
Every MojoDesk is ergonomically designed, which means it helps improve comfort, increase energy levels and boost productivity. Not only is MojoDesk built to comply with ANSI-HFES 100-2007 National Ergonomic Standards, our founder, Dave Carson, helped create the standards.
When evaluating the ergonomics of a desk, always consider these factors:
All MojoDesk models incorporate a tip prevention sensor to automatically halt movement to prevent damage and injury should any objects be blocking its trajectory.
The MojoDesk 48x30 cubicle rectangle starts at $499 vs. the Varidesk price of $695.
